Flu Shots Available Sunday Sept 9

No need to run elsewhere this fall to get your flu shot. They will be offered here at St. Andrews in the Lounge after worship service on Sunday, September 9.  ShopRite Pharmacy will be providing the flu shots. Please bring your medical insurance or Medicare ID card, complete the vaccination authorization form available in the lounge and you will be all set. Regular and high dose vaccines will be available.  

Back to School Donation Drive

Backpacks are distributed to children under the care of the Division of Child Protection & Permanency. Backpacks are our primary need. School supplies are welcome as well. Please place donations in the box in the lobby. Outreach: Cathedral Kitchen in Camden

On the 1st Wednesday of each month, St. Andrew’s volunteers at Cathedral Kitchen in Camden. Our next date to volunteer is Wednesday, September 5th, when: 6 volunteers will meet in St. Andrew’s parking lot at 10:30am carpool to Cathedral Kitchen to make sandwiches travel along with a staff member to a senior citizens’ center in Camden to distribute the sandwiches and soup from the Cathedral Kitchen food truck.  It’s a very organized and rewarding event! Counting Team Volunteers Needed

We are looking for a few people who would like to help out counting the collection on Sunday mornings. You will be assigned to a team that will count money on Sunday each month after church. If you are not able to make a regular commitment to one Sunday each month, but would still like to help out, we also need people who are willing to serve as substitutes on an as needed basis when one of our regular counters…

Try-a-Tithe Sunday – 2nd Sundays

In an effort to connect giving with discipleship and faith practices, we are designating the 2nd Sunday of each month as “Try-A-Tithe” Sunday. The focus of “Try-a-Tithe” Sunday is to invite and encourage each household to grow toward a tithe or giving 1/10 of your weekly income. This means you would give the usual offering on the 1st, 3rd, 4th and 5th Sundays, then on the 2nd Sunday, Try-a-Tithe Sunday, you are invited to step up in faith and give…
